Missouri Department of Workforce Development

Alchemy and the state of Missouri develop Career Readiness for job-seekers.

Alchemy and the Missouri Department of Workforce Development collaborated to develop 2 new libraries of courses for job seekers and workforce center staff. Together with Missouri’s DWD, Alchemy produced a new series of courses for the unemployed job seeker on how to prepare for, find, and land a new job. This entertaining and insightful series is being delivered to customers in all of Missouri’s 42 One-Stop Career Centers, as well as over 100 workforce centers nationwide. The second library produced in this effort is targeted at the career center employee. This library helps introduces new career center staff to the workforce system and the helps bring perspective to the unique issues of the various workforce customers.


Silliker and Alchemy partner to develop Food Safety training

Alchemy and Silliker join forces to develop food industry training for in-plant personnel.

Alchemy partnered with Silliker to develop several new courses for the food industry. Adding to Alchemy’s extensive list of food safety courses are three new courses on Food Allergen Awareness, Allergen Process Control, and Good Manufacturing Practices for Maintenance Personnel. These courses were produced in English and Spanish for entry level workers working in food processing facilities. More courses are planned for development in 2008.


JEVS and Alchemy partner to bring training to in-home attendants

Alchemy and JEVS partner to develop interactive DVD training series for in-home attendants.

Alchemy was contracted by the Jewish Employment and Vocational Service (JEVS) to create a unique and engaging DVD training series for employers of in-home attendants. This series of courses focuses on developing the skills of individuals that require the services of an in-home personal care attendant. Through this engaging and often humorous series, individuals are trained on how hire, manage, and develop an effective working relationship with their in-home attendants.
